CJ and Joey are the
Children’s Hospital mascots

Children across Central Illinois voted for CJ and Joey, a pair of kangaroos, to serve as St. John’s Children’s Hospital mascots. CJ and Joey represent St. John’s Children’s Hospital in various educational materials and in person at hospital and community events.

		CJ and Joey were nominated by Joe Dobbins, a student at Dubois Elementary in Springfield. Joe says he picked the name CJ after learning St. John’s Children’s Hospital is located in the Carol Jo Vecchie Women and Children’s Center.
