Pediatric Rehabilitation
St. John's Pediatric Rehabilitation Department helps infants and children who are experiencing difficulties with motor development, communication and feeding. Occupational and physical therapists, along with speech/language pathologists, use a team approach to promote children's development and help them adapt to home, school and day care.
Specialty areas include:
  • Sensory integration
  • Augmentative communication
  • Gait training
  • Wheelchair/Custom seating
  • Oral/motor/feeding skills
The Pediatric Rehabilitation Department places strong emphasis on follow-through, which includes educating parents and school therapists about the child's condition and making referrals to community organizations with you.
