Transport Team
St. John’s Children’s Hospital, in conjunction with the Level III perinatal services in Springfield, has dedicated clinical teams on call 24/7 to transport critically ill pediatric, neonatal, or perinatal patients.

Our dedicated transport teams always include a registered nurse and respiratory therapist. Our neonatal nurse practitioners are specially trained to care for children and mothers who need urgent care during transport to the hospital.

Our enhanced transport teams allow us to better meet the needs of your patients and extend our specialized pediatric and maternal care to more communities in our 35-county region.
