Although surgery for your child may be scheduled at St. John’s Pavilion or the main surgery area on the 3rd floor of the hospital, everyone 16 years of age and younger must go to the Pediatric check in area. This is located on the 3rd floor of the main building across from the elevators in the south hallway.
Parking
Free parking is available in the parking ramp on the corner of Seventh and Mason streets and in the surface lot east of the Pavilion on the corner of Ninth and Madison streets. Free valet parking is available in front of the Pavilion and in front of the Mason Street entrance.
Check in
If you enter through the Pavilion lobby, take the elevator to the 2nd floor and follow the blue Pediatric Check in signs (featuring the dolphins) across the skywalk and through the hallways to the check-in area. This is located on the 3rd floor of the main building directly across from the elevators in the south hallway.
If you come in through the Mason Street entrance, look for the blue Pediatric Check in signs (featuring dolphins) in the hallways and elevators to guide you to the Pediatric Check in area. This is located on the 3rd floor of the main building, directly across from the elevators in the south hallway.
You will check in and remain in this area prior to surgery.
