Coming to the Hospital
|
 |
What to Bring |
When you know that you are coming to St. John’s, there are certain materials that are important to have with you. You will be asked for identification and insurance paperwork. If the child is a ward of the State, or you have been given medical decision making authority, you may be asked for additional documents.
Be sure and bring your child's current medications.
After you register, the clerk will put on identification bracelets. These bracelets will be put on the child, and two family members. These bracelets must be worn throughout your time in the hospital.
St. John's Children's Hospital has all kinds of toys and games that children can use while they are here. But, children can also bring any of their favorite movies, music, games, toys, or stuffed animals from home. They can also bring any of their favorite pajamas, slippers, blankets, or pillows to use while they are here.
If you ever have any questions regarding what you should expect or bring, please e-mail us, we would like to answer your questions.
