Josh is a sick child's best friend. He's a happy-go-lucky retriever, but that wasn't always the case. Not long ago, the playful pup faced serious surgery, and he shares his story in I'll Be O.K. He talks about hospital visits, tests and surgery from a dog's point of view--a perspective shared by children. Josh and his story have been endorsed by a prestigious group of educators, medical professionals and corporate sponsors including Children's Miracle Network, The American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Legion Family (The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of America Legion).     In I'll Be O.K., Josh doesn't just bark out the facts, he opens his heart and shares his fears, the same fears faced by children. Josh makes a promise to be with a child, and he keeps it. Young Alicia knows that, and her story shows exactly how children can lean on Josh. St. John's Children's Hospital allows Josh to accompany a child through pre-op procedures and rejoin the patient in recovery. Even when mom and dad can't be around, Josh will be there, reminding children that everything will be O.K. You too can put a smile on the face of a child at St. John's Children's Hospital by becoming a member of the Children's Miracle Network Miracle Maker Club. Your contribution of $25 a month for 12 months will help support children's healthcare programs, services and research at St. John's Children's Hospital. With your contribution, we will present a Josh Dog set to a child who is in the Pediatrics Unit, admitted in the Emergency area, or in Pedi Rehab to be with them throughout their procedures, tests, and stay in the hospital. The Josh Dog Set includes the cuddly Josh Dog, Josh's story I'll Be O.K., and an adorable dog house. We will also send you a photo of the child receiving the Josh Dog as a thank you for your generous contribution.
