Children's Miracle network
Children's Miracle Network (CMN) is a national fundraising organization that works with local medical facilities across the country to raise money for children's healthcare programs. CMN also helps families find the help they need for their seriously ill children.
The local CMN raises funds for St. Johns Hospital and Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine. These facilities treat over 50,000 area children each year.
One hundred percent of the money raised by CMN goes directly to programs for area children. None is sent to a national headquarters or spent for administrative costs.
CMN assists children with all types of afflictions - cancer, heart and muscular diseases, prematurity, cerebral palsy, AIDS and accident victims. We pride ourselves on treating the whole child and providing care regardless of a family's ability to pay.
Major CMN fund-raising events:
The CMN Champions Broadcast is held annually the weekend after Memorial Day to raise funds and highlight the children benefiting from CMN dollars.
