You have the power to change lives and win $10,000 with the purchase of a single ticket!During the spring of 2009, St. John’s College, Department of Nursing Alumni Association will hold its fifth annual BIG Raffle. This is your chance to win $10,000 or one of 32 other cash prizes! Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $50 each, so your chance of winning is excellent! A total of $15,000 in cash prizes will be given away. Five Early Bird drawings will be held beginning April 17. Early Bird winners will remain in the Raffle for the final drawing. Tickets will be sold through June 25 or until 1,000 are sold. Grand prize drawing will be at St. John’s Hospital on June 26, 2009. Early Bird drawings will be held April 17, May 1, May 15, May 29 and June 12. Winners need not be present to win. With the money going to scholarships, continued education and updated teaching materials, you have the power to change lives and win $10,000 with the purchase of a single ticket. Information about St. John’s CollegeLocated in Springfield, Illinois, St. John’s College is the oldest Catholic hospital-based school of nursing in the United States. It was started in 1886 for the purpose of educating the Hospital Sisters who founded St. John’s Hospital. Throughout its 123 years, the School of Nursing has evolved, becoming the College of Nursing in the 1990s with the purpose of educating caring, competent, baccalaureate-prepared nurses to provide service to the community. Since the beginning, the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis have provided the financial support needed to operate the school. They have pledged to continue to do so. |
