The Society of 1875 was named for the year St. John’s was founded by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis. We invite you to join the Society of 1875 with a contribution to the Friends of St. John’s Hospital.

Your gift, pooled with other contributions, will have a profound impact on the quality of health care provided to your family, friends and neighbors. Funds are used to advance and support patient care, as well as for community outreach programs, medical research and education programs for staff and patients.

Friends who give $625 a year are considered members of the Society. Friends who give $1,875 annually are members of the Chairman’s Circle within the Society of 1875.

Benefits of Membership

Members of the Society of 1875 will receive the following amenities of membership:

• An invitation to the Society of 1875 dinner
• Invitations to special lectures, Friends of St. John’s Hospital seminars, events and tours of St. John’s Hospital (when applicable)
• The Friends of St. John’s Hospital newsletter and hospital publications, where they will be listed as Society Members
• A parking decal for use in the hospital’s parking ramps
• A silver Society of 1875 lapel pin
• Applicable recognition on the hospital’s Donor Wall
  

Chairman’s Circle members within the Society of 1875 will receive the above amenities, plus:

• A gold Society of 1875 lapel pin
• A Friends of St. John’s Hospital Golf shirt
• A 10 percent discount in St. John’s Hospital Gift Shops
  When hospitalized at St. John’s, complimentary floral arrangement and daily newspaper delivered to room**
