MAY 13 AFTER SCHOOL WITH THE DOCTOR SEMINAR
TO FOCUS ON SUMMER SAFETY
SPRINGFIELD – St. John’s Children’s Hospital and Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine are presenting a free seminar on how to keep kids safe during the summer months on the afternoon of May 13. The After School with the Doctor seminar “Summer Time Safety – Keeping Kids Out of the E.R.” will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Prairie Heart Institute’s Dove Conference Center, 619 E. Mason.
Dr. Myto Duong, Assistant Professor, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, will present information and answer questions from parents. Free on-site babysitting services will be offered to parents who want to bring children ages 1 – 12. Parents are also welcome to bring infants with them to the seminar.
