St. John's Laboratory Services
The St. John's Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks. The laboratory staff is comprised of board-certified clinical and anatomical pathologists, certified medical technologists, histotechnologists, cytologists, phlebotomists and technicians.
Laboratory testing is performed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with state-of-the-art technology to assure timely test results. The majority of tests are performed on site. Occasional tests are referred to designated reference laboratories.
Outpatient laboratory phlebotomy service is offered on the main lobby level of the hospital, Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 6 pm. Access is through the main entrance of the hospital on Carpenter Street.
After hours, weekends and holidays phlebotomy service is provided at the main laboratory via the Emergency Department entrance
