Getting Help

Talk with your family physician or clergy member and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist or other type of mental health professional .

You may also call St. John's Psychiatric Services Department for help locating a psychiatrist. While Psychiatric Services is open around the clock, the best time to call for a referral is between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The phone number is: (217) 757-6330.

IN AN EMERGENCY

Dial 9-1-1 or "0" for the operator for situations that require immediate medical attention.
