Psychiatric Services

 Individuals, age 18 and over, are served in the program.

  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medical history and physical evaluation
  • Social history and psychosocial assessment
  • Substance abuse assessment
  • Medication and psychotropic medication management
  • Functional assessment, as needed
  • Individualized treatment plan
  • Individual, family, and group counseling
  • Occupational therapy, as needed
  • Social services and care coordination
  • Recreation therapy
  • Activities of Daily Living training
  • Continuing care planning and community follow up

Teamwork

A healthcare team, led by a psychiatrist, helps provide each individual's treatment. This team includes psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, mental health and addictions counselors, psychotherapists, social workers, an occupational therapist, recreation therapist and other specialists as needed.
