Radiology Department
The St. John's Hospital Radiology Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology, the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety. In addition, all technologists are board certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
For over 30 years, Springfield Radiologists, S.C. has been affiliated with the St. John's Hospital Radiology Department. All 15 current physician members of Springfield Radiologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
St. John's Radiology Department is a dynamic unit offering a broad range of patient- and physician-oriented services. The department includes the following areas: Angiography/Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures; CT Scanning (CAT Scanning); Diagnostic Radiology; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); Nuclear Medicine; Ultrasound; and Women Services, which includes mammography, breast sonography, and bone densitometry for osteoporosis.
