Warning Signs
Stroke is a medical emergency. Millions of brain cells die each minute a stroke is untreated. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms please: Call 911 - get to St. John's Hospital Emergency Room.
| Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg,
especially on one side of the body |

| Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding | ||
| Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes | ||
| Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination |

| Sudden, severe headache with no known cause |
Not all of these warning signs occur in every stroke. If some start to occur, don't wait, get help immediately! Every second counts!
