Express Check In

St. John's Hospital

St. John's now offers Express Check-In for your services. Express Check-in allows to you to self check-in using a touch screen monitor to verify your information, sign an electronic consent form and scan your insurance cards, all at the convenient Express Check-In Kiosk. Once you have completed your check-in, you may proceed directly to your department for your services.

The kiosks are located just inside the main Lobby (across from the Information Desk) of the hospital and the main entrance to the Women and Children's Center (on front desk). Patient Access personnel will be available to assist you with the process.

St. John's is excited to be offering this new service and if you have any additional questions regarding this process, please call the Access Department at 544-6464 ext. 45000.

FAQ's

Do I have to use the kiosk?No. If you prefer, you may register for your services in the same manner as you always have with a registrar.

Do I still bring my insurance card and photo id?Yes. You will be prompted at the kiosk to scan them.

Do I still need to bring my order from the doctor?Yes. If the doctor gave you an order, please bring with you and give to the dept.

How hard is the kiosk to use?It is a simple process that uses a touch screen monitor.Patient Access staff will be available to assist you if you have any questions.

How long will it take?This could vary; however, it should take less than 5 minutes.

Is my information safe/secure that I enter at the kiosk?Absolutely, all information obtained in the kiosk is protected under HIPAA.

How do I get my armband/labels?We have developed new processes for these areas to accommodate this. You may not get your armband/labels until you present to the dept. for services.
