Tell everyone to PULL for the Ronald McDonald House
Just pop the aluminum tabs off of your favorite drink cans and bring them to us. It's easy and lots of fun too! Anyone can do it.....schools, clubs, businesses, church groups and individuals. You'll be surprised how fast these tabs add up. Each year nearly 40,000,000 tabs are collected for our house.
You can be part of the fun. Start collecting today. You can use anything to collect the tabs in, like coffee cans, boxes, bags, or maybe even a fish tank. Use your imagination. You can print out our container labels and design your own collection container. Just click on the links to the right for these labels and for other fun pop tab information.
Once you have a few containers full or have accomplished your collection goal, bring them to the Ronald McDonald House at 610 North 7th Street, Springfield, IL 62702. We will sell them to our recycling partner and use the funds to help keep our doors open for whenever a family needs us. You can also turn the tabs in to your local recycling center and send us the money.
So, what are you waiting for. Let's get started.
Drop a dime—or more! in the canister next time you eat at your favorite McDonald’s. Your donation provides funding for our grants program and may be used in your community.
Ninety-nine McDonald’s restaurants in central Illinois support our House by keeping these canisters in their stores—visit one soon!
Thousands of dollars are raised each year by schools, clubs, church groups and other organizations who get together and create their own fundraiser. A '50s-'60s Sock Hop, the Lake Shore Golf Classic in Taylorville and
the Gold Wing Road Riders Charity Run are just a few that have become annual events.
