Beverly Neisler, CFRE
Chief Development Officer
Bev joined St. John’s Hospital in March 2013. She has held leadership roles in nonprofit fundraising throughout her career. Her primary practice has been in the areas of health care and education. Bev’s strong ties to the Springfield community and the central Illinois region serve as key components to building a dynamic and comprehensive philanthropy program.

Bev received her master’s degree in interpersonal and non-verbal communications from the University of Illinois. She holds the designation of certified fund raising executive which is recognized as the global standard for the fundraising profession. Additionally, Bev is a certified leadership coach, teacher and speaker with The John Maxwell Team.

Brandy Grove
Major Gifts Officer
Brandy joined the team in January 2014. She is responsible for building relationships with donors who have an affinity to HSHS St. John’s Hospital. Brandy’s area of focus for philanthropy is determined by the ministry’s ever-changing needs to best serve our patients and their families.

Brandy earned an MBA from Benedictine University in September 2018 and has a B.A. in communications from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Previously, she was the marketing & promotions director for the Capitol Radio Group and executive director of the generation Healthy Coalition. Brandy is a member of Illinois Women in Leadership, a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois.

Hannah Rucker
Donor Relations Strategist
Hannah joined the Foundation team in 2018. As donor relations strategist, Hannah is focused on engagement and relationship development supporting HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She implements and analyzes initiatives of key donor programs and plans data strategies.

Prior to joining the team, Hannah served in various fund development roles advancing health, education and children’s causes. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield with a M.A. in liberal & integrative studies. Hannah.Rucker@hshs.org

Dave Newton
Program Coordinator
Dave Newton joined the team in October 2012. As program coordinator for HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), Dave is focused on increasing funds and awareness for CMN and St. John’s Children’s Hospital. Dave had a successful 23-year career in radio before joining the foundation team. He was also been associated with the “Care for Kids” Radiothon since its inception.

Dave graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a B.A. in communications and a minor in journalism.

Katie Impson
Coordinator of Programs and Events
Katie joined the Foundation in April of 2014. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Katie is responsible for maintaining relationships with the Children’s Miracle Network local partners and facilitating national programs and events. She is also in charge of our miracle family relations, radiothon and miracle jeans day. Katie was named colleague of the month for HSHS St. John's Hospital in March 2019.

Angie McIlroy
Donor Stewardship Facilitator
Angie joined the foundation in 2012, bringing 15 years of specialty customer service experience. Angie is responsible for the processing and acknowledging gifts, maintaining accurate donor records and assisting with special projects and events. Angie also has many years of experience with Children's Miracle Network, helping to raise funds and awareness for HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital as a miracle family volunteer and spokesperson.

Matt Hayen
Data Analyst II/Prospect Research Coordinator
Matt joined the team in October 2018. As a data analyst II, he prepares reports and statistics and ensures accuracy of data information. As the prospect researcher, Matt works closely with our gift officers to develop prospective donor pools for cultivation and solicitation purposes. Matt received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University Sacramento.
 

Hannah Worden
Donor Stewardship Facilitator
Hannah joined the team in December of 2018. She is responsible for processing and acknowledging gifts, maintaining accurate donor records and assisting with the foundation leadership council. Hannah graduated from the University of Illinois Springfield with a degree in business management and a minor in marketing. Prior to graduation, Hannah served as the foundation’s intern working with the Children’s Miracle Network program.
