Dairy Queen Blizzard® Treat Sales to Benefit HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital

On Thursday, July 27, participating Dairy Queen (DQ) locations in Central Illinois will come together to raise funds for HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

Dollars raised will help support children like Ruby Hubbard, who have a remarkable medical story to tell thanks to the treatment she received at St. John’s.

Donations collected on Miracle Treat Day help fund programs like the child life program, music therapy and pet therapy.

As part of the 13th annual DQ Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 27, DQ Grill & Chill® and Dairy Queen® locations throughout the U.S. will raise funds to help save and improve the lives of children in Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. During Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard® treat sold at participating locations will be donated to CMN Hospitals, which raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

Last year, local DQ stores raised more than $31,000 for St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

Since 1984, DQ has raised more than $125 million for the charity through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.

Funds raised on Miracle Treat Day stay local to help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals care for sick and injured children

To help celebrate, fans are encouraged to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and invite others to join them in visiting a participating DQ location. For more information about Miracle Treat Day, visit MiracleTreatDay.com.
