  • Rehabilitation Services at St. John's Hospital  

    St. John’s Hospital Rehabilitation Services provides care for adult and pediatric patients in acute care, outpatient, physician clinics and the Transitional Care Unit.

    The rehabilitation staff works with nearly 800 medical staff and resident physicians, more than 700 RNs, as well as a diverse team of other health care professionals. The rehabilitation professionals serve all patient populations ranging from patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital to geriatric patients seen in one of several outpatient facilities.

    Services are provided by bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral prepared professionals, with specialty education and certifications including Lymphedema, Pelvic Floor and Incontinence, Mackenzie Back Therapy, Manual Therapy, Early Intervention, Developmental Therapy, Sensory Processing Disorders and certifications as Car Passenger Safety Technicians, including special needs training.

    St. John's Hospital is the home of AthletiCare, the premier sports medicine and performance enhancement program serving all of Central Illinois. We offer physician staffed clinics, physical and occupational therapy, athletic training services and Acceleration performance enhancement. The athletic training services are provided to more than 30 high schools, colleges, universities and semi-pro sports teams across five counties.
